Research

My research is focused on learning with the world. I am currently exploring relationships between drawing and motion, examining the new understandings and connections that can emerge through these practices.

My PhD research explored children’s comic-making, with an emphasis on process, materials, assemblage, learning through making, and open-ended learning.

I have PhDs in Education (Bath Spa University, 2020) and Archaeology (University of Leicester, 2004).
