I make comics that communicate the results of academic research, with a focus on archaeology, history, folklore and landscape/environment. I have collaborated with many academics in order to disseminate their research to both academic and non-specialist audiences.

I also write about research projects. I am experienced in writing academic texts and presentations, grant applications, impact case studies, blog posts, and creative non-fiction.

I currently hold the position of writer-in-residence for the Material:Pedagogy:Future network.
